I can't claim originality with the "flood 'em" idea (but I'll take credit for the phrase! lol).

The first time I saw the idea was from a newspaper columnist from a few years ago — maybe Eugene Robinson but I'm not sure. Whoever it was said Blacks and progressives who can work remotely should move to small towns and sort of take them over.

It's already happening to some degree. I remember a few years ago being at a street festival in Round Rock, Texas, a large suburb north of Austin, and marveling at the diversity. Jesse Jackson and his Rainbow Coalition would have been so happy!

I think diversity is vital toward all of our mental health. I don't understand the resistance to it at all.
