You might be right. One would think he wouldn't stand a chance to win, but his cult members are running for election in smaller jurisdictions all over the place. If he doesn't lose by a landslide, they could steal the election for real next time.

They may anyway, and to your point, he'll probably get fewer votes than others will. I don't even know. Would his supporters sit out the election if he didn't run?
