You may have noticed that Mr. James is now being held without bail. This is a violation of the 5th Amendment if he wasn't presented to a grand jury, and I don't see any news stories saying that he was. Just to a judge.

Soon, another part of the 5th amendment will be violated when James confesses after being subjected to horrible jail conditions and then taken out for occasional interrogations.

He turned himself in, but he was all over the news as a suspect. Black men are killed for having broken taillights in America. What choice did he have?

Maybe he's the shooter. And if so he should get locked up. But that's not how we should find out. At least give the man bail so he can present a defense.
