You have a fundamental misunderstanding of CRT. There is no shaming intended. No guilt. CRT is simply a formal request that Americans reconsider their antiquated and false narratives on how the American Empire was forged.
If you reject the premise that the empire was forged through genocide and ethnic cleansing, then further discussion is pointless.
There is for sure some silly cancel culture stuff going on, but that is a blip, part of the overall correction process. It will go away soon enough.
Many of us argue that it is better for it to go too far than not far enough. And besides, cancel culture is hardly a leftist phenomenon. Colin Kaepernick was cancelled. Where is the centrist outrage on that? The list is longer than you are willing to accept.

As a "lefty" I support lower taxes for startups and small businesses, and an end to what amounts to double taxation of independent businesses and freelancers. How is that left? I do support much higher taxes on the rich. But we all did a few decades ago.
