Football: I played when I was in high school. It's in my blood. It also gives players horrific brain injuries that result sometimes in violence. But if I ever stop watching it, it will be because I'm either dead or a vegetable.

I've never been big on cartoons, but I like all forms of comedy, including politically incorrect ones. Hell, I even liked Andrew Dice Clay back in the day. I am pretty sure that was strictly an act, but I dunno for sure.

Politics: The U.S. only has one legitimate political party right now, so the situation is worse than it's ever been. And that one party is definitely beholden to corporate interests. The other party has disqualified itself from consideration.

I'm left of Bernie, so my "candidate" has never come close to being elected president. They're just not out around. So I just typically vote for the one who I like the most. It happens to always be a Democrat, but I'd prefer a choice more in line with my line of thinking.

America has moved hard to the right in the last 40 years aside from some minimal progress on LGBTQ+ and other human rights. But IMHO we live in a right wing country that is seriously tinkering with something much worse.
