Yes, I knew but, still informative.. One of the heroes in my novel Restive Souls is a Haitian who captures George Washington in the failed revolutionary war, which leads to emancipation of slaves in the late 1770s and the birth of a powerful new African-majority nation in the Carolinas.

There are excerpts of the novel here on Medium and on Substack. It's being looked at by 2 publishers and I'm working on hunting down more. So far, agents seem afraid of it, lol.
