With Hillary, though, we wouldn't have had the current SCOTUS mess, which could etch permanence into this ugly drama. We can hope that all the Trump justices give each other Covid, but apart from that, we are in SCOTUS hell for many years.

I was no fan of Hillary - I felt a little dirty voting for her, but I was pretty sure Trump would be as awful as he turned out to be. I didn't see the election as a choice between two evils. I saw it as existential.

I wasn't fond of Biden, either, and he's been a joyous surprise.

Speaking of free TV coverage, I do think if it had not been for Morning Joe, Trump wouldn't have skated through the primaries like he did. What Morning Joe did was truly awful, and he's never apologized for it (that I'm aware of), even after he turned against Trump.
