When I watched the debate between Gore and Bush Jr and Gore rolled his eyes at something idiotic Bush Jr said, I said out loud, "He just lost the election."

The Florida fiasco was awful, but it should never have come to that. American voters, as has been demonstrated repeatedly, have repeatedly embarrassed themselves with their choices.
