When I was about 8 or 9 or so I had a Black friend at my house who cut his knee when we were playing with cars. I got a band aid out of the bathroom and grabbed a magic marker and colored it. My mom got pissed because I marked up the table doing it. My friend and I wondered why they didn't make Band Aids for Black people. Being kids, we didn't think of it as being a "racist" decision so much as just being stupid.
A lot of commenters here are saying this stuff isn't racist, but it is. The people in charge of making Band Aids were all white in those days. Blacks were an after thought. That's a fundamental part of racism. In some ways, it's worse than the overt stuff of white nationalist groups, because it permeated all of society at one time. Today, companies have more POC representation. But it's been a very long process to get there, and there's a long way to go.
