When I was a young white guy living in Chicago (I'm still a white guy but I'm no longer young), my favorite tee shirt was one I saw on a Lake Michigan beach that said in big black letters, all caps, "It's a Black Thang. You wouldn't understand."

This helps white folks understand, assuming they bother to read past the headline.
