When I read articles based on fact rather than opinion, I consider them opinion anyway if they don't have sources.

People need to rely on that rule when they read anything on the Internet, but they need to also have the ability to review the source materials involved.

With that in mind, I'll point to a Wikipedia source referred to in this article:

It's pretty clear what conclusion many denizens of the Internet have come around to.

But that doesn't make the Internet a bad thing.

To borrow a phrase from the pernicious gun lobby: "The Internet doesn't make people stupid, people do."
