Well, that's part of the problem, right? The political situation is quite insane. Really, there's only one legitimate political party, because the other one wants to turn the country into a theocratic dictatorship.

I've thought about this a little more, and I feel even stronger about it, but I'll add that it should be coupled with a man to the moon type of program to build new housing in America to fix the housing crisis. That would solve the immigrant problem, too, because we'd have to import some in order to make that work.
