Well, Stacey has got to win herself a major election first. We'll see how she does in Georgia. I don't think a close loss cuts it.

I'd love to see a surprise pop up somewhere. But for the life of me I can't think of who that might be.

I wouldn't rule out Klobuchar. She's quietly been a very effective Senator since she ran last. Lots of nominees have run more than once. She's probably learned what she needs to do a second time around.

But my prediction stands. :-) Newsom wouldn't be my first or even second choice, but he wins elections and is telegenic (92% of the battle).

One thing I do like about him is that he feeds off the energy of destroying the right wing. He actually seems to enjoy it. I"m warming to him just a bit because of that. We need a warrior mentality, I hate to say.
