Well said. I wrote some similar thoughts down on a self published book on Christianity I did for Kindle.
For me, the divine nature of the Bible doesn't involve the specific text, it's what happens to my inner being when I read it. It becomes quieter, more at peace, more accepting of the world and people around me. In that sense, the Bible is the Word of God, because he speaks to me as I read it.
The Bible itself was written and translated by men, often men with an agenda. It is almost an impossibility that some of it was not altered.
I happen to think the role of women, especially Mary Magdalene, was suppressed by these men as time went on. Christianity would be in a much happier state if women's role in the early church was better recognized and cheered.
