Well, I finally finished ACIM about a month ago. Took me three years, lol. I loved it, although it was a bit dense. I sometimes wondered while reading it, "Why did Jesus channel through such a writer?" — but I began to realize that it was probably because a better writer would have mangled it with their own creative juices.
That's not an answer to your question, though. I love the message. And I think the Gospel that seems most aligned to it is John (along with some of the gnostic stuff in Nag Hammadi).
I also think that ACIM aligns perfectly with the core message of the Bible. We're all brothers and sisters in Christ.
I also appreciated how he states several dozen times in ACIM that we are all basically insane, simply because we live in the illusion of fear.
I also think Jesus wrote (channeled?) Ecclesiastes, which sounds a lot like ACIM. It doesn't have the vibe of a semi-barbarian (Solomon).
I could go on and on, lol. The stuff is all pretty fascinating to me. Cheers!
