We can complain all we want about how unfair the Republican playbook is, but they can still be stopped at the ballot box if people just get off their phones for a minute and vote in down ballot elections.

Any country that allows a guy like DeSantis to win a presidential election deserves its fate.

Just as Florida deserves its fate. Florida is sinking into the Atlantic as I write this, its marshes becoming a toxic stew, its beaches falling prey to red algae and other side effects of pollution and climate change.

Not to mention it's becoming the Gilead of the Caribbean.

At the end of the day, voters really do get what they voted for when as many people don't vote as we see in each election.
