Unfortunately I don't think there's such a thing as a wild eyed progressive, as I wrote recently in a medium story. There are center left and center right folks who share tons of common ground, and there are Republicans , who have ceded control of their party to the evangelical radical right wing desperately trying to make Margaret Atwood's nightmare come true.

You're right of course, and I don't think we can underestimate the momentum these people have. Recent polls in Texas show Beto far behind. This country is deeply immoral. Ironic, given the self-aggrandizing of the evangelicals who have led us there.
