Tough call. People like Omar were elected for telling the truth. But they also need to govern. Mr. Spot below said it better than me regarding the Iraq invasion. We as a nation are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq. Hamas, what? A few thousand? That doesn't make them okay, but I don' t mind seeing elected representatives taking note of our own crimes, of which there are many.

Maybe part of what is happening is simply a battle between the status quo, which begat Trump, ultimately, and something better. There will be painful episodes from that. But I frankly don't want to see the Squad silenced for breaking out facts that we as a nation would rather not look at.
