This is the desperate attempt of a man whose mental faculties have been deteriorating in a very public way for several years.

Listen to a free-form discussion with Howard Stern from a decade plus ago and compare it to any free-form talk from the last year or two, and you'll see a marked difference in speech pattern. The deterioration is pronounced. The man isn't just playing a crazy man on TV. He is one.

Combine that with an almost certain indictment by the state of New York, and there is your recipe for his bravado and desperation. He will be in a New York state prison or be a vegetable before 2024.

Overall the system held up quite well. The electoral system proved very difficult to hack because it is so decentralized. And election officials, even Republican ones, showed no tolerance for his shenanigans.

Did anyone notice the crazy hours and hard work local election officials and vote counters put in to make this a viable election?

I did. Why are we not cheering them? These people risked their health during a pandemic to make this election SUCCEED.

It didn't help that his attorneys were incompetent, but only incompetent attorneys would have filed the wild, evidence-free claims that Maskara Rudy and his bozo crew tried to file.

Is the electoral college a joke? Yup, but that doesn't alter my argument that this election demonstrated the strength of our democracy, not its weakness.
