This is how the Republican Party got taken over by lunatics, but that doesn't mean their strategy for the takeover isn't sound.

Progressives CAN take over the Democratic Party, but you need to be patient and help it happen by following the Moral Majority/Tea Party model. Take over at local levels. Win school board and city council seats, even in small towns. It can be done.

Ranting about Joe is clickbaity and a waste of most of your readers' time because you're just preaching to the choir when you complain about wages and U.S. Middle Eastern foreign policy. Sorry, that stuff isn't going to change until you start digging at the roots of the Democratic Party.

It IS starting to happen. There have been a FEW progressive wins here and there.

But unfortunately, progressives are in no position to whine and moan, because they simply have no power or leverage. That has to be gained at the lower levels.

Engaging in clickbait headlines to grab a few Medium views or to rant may feel slightly good for a time, but coming up with real answers about HOW to win lower level seats and build an army would be more helpful.
