There are lots of rock stars who start off with a lot of great social work in their lyrics but who eventually succumb to the wealth thrown at them.

I can't judge. I can't imagine a scenario where I wouldn't do the same.

That's the problem. The corporate titans who control it all are willing to not only support the messaging of these folks, but they help promote it, too, knowing that eventually, the money will smooth out any rough edges to their work.
