The U.S. with nuclear weapons is at least as dangerous if the wrong Christo-Nationalist wins the presidency. There are tons of lunatic American fundamentalists who believe we are in the end days and would have no problem drawing the final curtain. I've seen some of what these people write about.

It's also worth mentioning that the Iranian government is a gift from failed American foreign policy. The Shah was installed after a fairly elected Iranian government tried to take control of its own oil resources.

Now, the revolution has gone full circle, led by women in Iran. So, once again, it's women to the rescue. The protests continue. Even Ayatollah Khomeini's house has not been spared from the fires of youthful anger. This is a story still very much in flux.
