The problem with sabotaging a pipeline is that even if it can be done without killing people, others who are less careful or don't care about loss of life will copy cat it with fewer safeguards.

And we can't start saying to ourselves, "well pipeline workers are expendable. They are bringing it on themselves." This makes us no better than the corporate interests who also don't care about human life.

Looking at America's current fascist moment (and we are hardly alone), I can easily imagine how grim the retribution would be. And half of Americans would cheer it on.

Honestly I think people are just too lazy to vote. Look at how Republicans are moving in to win small elections that administer election results. They know how to play the small game. And they'll win and we will lose because nobody wants to vote in small local elections other then fascist nutbags.
