The country has veered into such a right wing myopia that there is only one viable political party. It sucks, but that is how it is.

That political party is home to corporate interests.

The other party, the Republicans, have disqualified themselves from the discussion because of their role in promoting Trump's illegal attempts to destroy the electoral process in America. They are on a direct road to fascism. Ike is rolling in his grave.

Hopefully a leftist party will emerge someday that will fight corporate interests, but it is not likely to happen in my lifetime.
