The conservatives who can think for themselves that I know are no longer Republican. They're politically homeless.

Republicans have a choice. The party can wrest control from the far-right and the goofballs, or it can die.

A one party system is not healthy, but it's what we'll have if Republicans don't get their act together. If they keep denying science, keep relying on misinformation, keep PUSHING misinformation (note the Republicans pushing of the Kamala Harris book nonsense), then the party will die a deserved death.

The good part of that is that a new centrist party should take its place.

If you're a conservative, don't hang onto labels. The Democrats during the civil war were the bad guys. Labels mean almost nothing.
