Furthermore, he is issuing executive orders to increase the minimum wage to $15 within 100 days to all federal workers AND their contractors (I am assuming this is for new contracts, though).
In other words, if you do business with the federal government, you must pay a minimum wage of at least $15. This will have a significant impact on the wages in general, even if Republicans block the $15 proposal in the relief package.
