That's exactly it. It catches obvious stuff for me. I see other peoples errors are lot quicker than I see mine. So Grammarly is that extra pair of eyes that all writers need.

But at the same time, it does dumb things like offer different options for words and sentence structure. It kind of tries to A.I.-ify my writing. No thanks.

The proper use of Grammarly, then, becomes another skill that writers need to master.
