I'll add, though, that Musk being the final arbiter is not a good thing, no matter who gets deplatformed. So there's a bigger problem here. Today it's Ye, tomorrow it might be you.
A social networking and capitalist infrastructure where one man can drop $40 billion to gain control of who says what is a nefarious development. It should be resisted. People should be up in arms over this kind of thing in ways that they aren't. The apathy that allows it is the same apathy that allows racism and antisemtism.
Honestly, we have bigger problems than Ye. He'll fade away because he's clearly not well. He'd fade away more quickly if people like Alex Jones didn't give him an outlet.
Which brings me to an obvious question. How on earth is Jones able to continue his podcasts when he's getting buried by Sandy Hook litigation damage awards? The courts ruling on those damages should be sucking that podcast dry.
