That was one of my points in a story I did for PS on why we shouldn't believe polls. The way conservatives did it was they released a jillion partisan polls showing a red tsunami, and the media picked up on them.

Polling is a joke. Nobody answers their cell phone if it isn't someone they want to talk to.
