Regarding DEI, Kamala won the District Attorney office in SF County handily in an election, then won California's Attorney General in another election that wasn't close, and received generally good marks for the job she did in both instances. I could quibble some with her, but that's always true for every single politiican in history.
She then won a Senate seat in another not close election. She excelled as a Senator, particularly in hearings.
If anything, she was one of the most qualified VP choices we've seen in a long time.
The only DEI Veep nominee I'm aware of is Sarah Palin. She was completely unqualified. McCain chose her because he thought she would help attract women voters. Instead, she just attracted the numbskull vote.
Kamala will be making the next blatant DEI choice by choosing a white male, because it's the only politically expedient choice she has.
Sort of a reverse DEI, I guess, lol.
