Thanks. I never viewed affirmative action as anything other than a redress for prior wrongs.

I have frankly been surprised that so many people want college admissions to be colorblind. Being colorblind in a society that actually is colorblind would be a wonderful ideal, but history is history. The disadvantages are real, and I have good friends who feel like the rug has just been pulled out from under them.
