Thanks. I honestly don't know how big a problem ageism is in tech. I've heard it's bad, but overall I have never had a problem finding work. But... I've had a few interesting experiences, and this is one. So I know it's out there. I just don't know to what degree.

This began as a longer article that included how to help assure survivability. But it doubled the reading time so I will probably push out a follow up soon.

I've thought about doing a little tech writing myself. I published a few books on software development, but I haven't checked into any tech writing opportunities. Thanks for the comment. I read and clapped your story.
