Thanks for this. I was only able to read the first few paragraphs of that interview, mostly because of the opening sentences written by the interviewer.
Quoting Matt Gaetz is inexcusable. Being elected to Congress should not automatically confer respect, especially if that person is consistently blasting lies into the cybersphere of American discourse, such that it is. Unsatisfied with quoting Getz, Wallace-Wells decided to gift us with DeSantis troll-speak: "Grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac.”
Wallace-Wells could have simply begun with a short paragraph stating that Fauci was controversial, mostly because the mainstream media was so intent on broadcasting the lies of science deniers in the name of "balanced reporting." One sentence would have sufficed.
I would have been much more interested in an article that asked how Fauci felt being in a boxing ring full of trolls for several years, and how he really feels about a president who suggested that we bleach our veins. We know Tucker Carlson, who's on the same team, despises him. I can only imagine what Fauci thinks.
