I don't think it really comes through in my writing, but I lean left of Bernie. I'm no fan of the Democratic Party as it is now constructed. However, this is no time for a litmus test. I wish it was, but it just isn't.

The next president, whether it's Biden or someone else not Trump (assuming Trump doesn't find a way to win this), will be much more to the right of the political spectrum than I will like.

But I'm used to that. I've been dealing with a crappy political system my whole life. Left wing politics get presidential-level politicians killed. Just ask the Kennedys.

So I settle. But in this case, it's really game, set match if Trump wins. Everything changes if he wins. People will disappear in the middle of the night. That kind of stuff.

Good luck on the software stuff. I'm trying to retire from the software biz myself. It's much more lucrative than writing, so you're making a good choice!! :-)
