When I lived in Texas a few years ago I thought that it would go purple, but the influx of techies there has brought in libertarians techies like Musk.

So I'm not so sure that the prognosis for Texas is as good as it is for Arizona and Georgia, but I hope I'm wrong.

As I mentioned in the article, I'm an old white person myself, but I really don't care that our share and influence is waning. We always need fresh voices. Societal changes are also good. I think you're correct in pointing these things out, but I don't understand those motivations.
