Thanks for the aggressive approach. I add a sig to every story that people can use if they want. It is not my creation. Medium writer Katharine Valentino came up with it. I think anyone who reads can tell I'm not using AI. I consider it a statement. Sort of a middle finger to AI.

I do use Midjourney for some Medium Illustrations, but I don't include them in pieces I think may have wide reach and I don't use its art for my books. I figure if I can't hire afford to hire an illustrator for my novels, then I'll just have to do it myself.

Also, I don't use Midjourney to do "in the style" of so and so painter/illustrator unless that individual's works are in the public domain.

Besides, most generative AI images have major flaws that close scrutiny will expose in seconds.
