Thanks for reading! I understand the arguments against it happening, but I'll counter with the same argument I've made with others who are pessimistic (understandably so): New York is full of hungry prosecutors who would love to take a big ole bite out of Trump's behind.
This is a career maker of epic proportions. We're talking Ben Affleck plays you in a movie type of epic proportions, book deals, cushy jobs for the rest of your life, what have you.
And, if a jury can convict Weisselberg as you say, then why not Trump? I guess you could argue about an intimidation factor, but I'd argue that there are about 19 million New Yorkers who wouldn't be at all intimidated.
I'd further argue that we should defer to the experts here. The experts in this case are the prosecutors who are digging up evidence. My assumption is that if they don't think they can win, they won't prosecute, and vice versa.
