Well, there is a difference between opposing an expansive military industrial complex and opposing THE military. I most certainly do not oppose the military per se.

Ike warned us about the dangers of the military industrial complex, but he obviously was not against the military :-)

Anybody who has a beating heart has to have an appreciation for folks in the military forces because they have, at least friends, if not family members, the armed forces.
