Thank you, that's very kind. There's nothing altruistic going on here, in my opinion. When I was growing up, my mom said something racist at the dinner table when I was in 7th grade and I screamed at her and got into a terrible argument. I decided I wanted to learn as much as I could about, at that time, slavery, etc.

When I was in 8th grade, I did a report on Ghana and an old empire there, and, although it wasn't a very deep dive, I discovered that there was an entire world out there that wasn't revealed to me as a young student through our public schools.

I guess I've never really let up on that curiosity.
