Fair question. Because you're not inclined to look (and that's fine - I am not an evangelist and I don't believe in a God who demands that you get on your knees or even believe in him/her), you probably aren't aware of the work some of these groups are doing.

Sojourners is probably the loudest mouthpiece against fundamentalists. They're very active. They get no press because the mainstream media is more interested in promoting the hate agenda of Christo-nationalists.

I guess there's just more money covering people who promote hate.
