Some of what you taught was wrong. The USA's North American empire was forged on the backs of slaves and the tears of ethnic cleansing.

There is currently a reckoning in this country that has resulted in a backlash from those who deny that part of our history.

I do believe truth and justice will prevail, but overall, the conflict is really part of the natural order of things.

We are about to find out if the USA is a democracy. The next couple of years will sort that out.
