Religious nuts have chosen abortion as a way to monitor women. They aren't at all interested in the sanctity of life, for the reasons you have pointed out.
The Bible itself is completely silent on abortion, except perhaps with this line from Ecclesiastes:
"As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything."
The author is basically saying, "Hey, you have no idea what is happening, or how the spirit enters the human, so shut up about it, K?"
From a scientific standpoint, that headstone in the picture is ridiculous. You can't be a victim of abortion if you have no brain wave activity. You can't kill what is already legally and technically dead. It's dead because it is not a viable human being yet. When the brain waves stop working on people in a hospital, what do they do? They announce the time of death to everyone in the room. They call it. LIghts out. Game over.
There are multiple Bible verses, especially in the New Testament, that confirm that all children go to heaven. But abortions involve tiny coagulants of cells that technically are not viable living beings so they don't go to heaven or anywhere else.
I'll disagree a bit on vaccines. When someone who is not vaccinated breathes on someone else, they are threatening that person's health.
That's completely different than an abortion. If someone gets an abortion, only that woman is affected. If she gets an abortion, I won't get sick.
