The arguments here are arguments for helping Ukraine, not against.
There is no relationship to America's refusal to take care of its own citizens and sending money to Ukraine. They are completely different issues.
Americans consistently vote against progressive politicians, and they will do so again in November. So the dismantling of the welfare state is on them.
What is happening in Ukraine is a function of what happens when you get an authoritarian lunatic presiding over a huge military industrial complex.
We tried it, too, but luckily sent him packing. But 30 percent of American voters seem to want a Putin-style presidency.
