As a hetero cis, all I can offer in words of encouragement to our LGBTQ+ friends is that sometimes the storm precedes the calm.

We're getting there. Even the current backlash is, I hope (and believe) part of that process. It's like the last lying call of jackals who are dying from a disease they don't understand.

The jackals will mostly all disappear, and those that don't will return to the rocks under which they used to live, because more and more people are waking up to the basic human rights that the LGBTQ+ deserve.
