People sure do get outraged when a few Snickers Bars end up in a poor person's belly.

But when their taxpayer money goes into wiping 100,000 Iraqis off the face of the earth, they cheer it on and get an orgasm when they see an air force pilot in uniform.

The priorities of the U.S. population are demented. When I went to a state university in 1976 the tuition was just over $300. Today it is $18,000+. I was on food stamps, too. Just try to get food stamps while attending college today. Let me know what happens.

Check out the tax tables of the 1970s and compare them with today. The rich have stopped paying taxes, and so all these conservative nut jobs who aren't making any money are bitching and moaning about those Snickers bars.

Maybe if we actually taxed the wealthy again, like we did 40 years ago, these criminally illiterate conservatives would stop complaining.

SNAP is a tiny part of the budget, anyway. It cost $68 billion. The last stimulus package, which was a pathetic and meager one, was ten times that.
