One would think that the older you are (I'm 62) the more anti-fascist one would be, given that the older you are, the more historical context you should have.

How on earth have we become a country where the president of the United States denigrates a group whose name is short for "anti-fascist?"

I've never talked to anyone who considers him/her self an antifa, but I bet they thought that was a pretty safe name when it first occurred to them. It should be safe to claim you are against the likes of Hitler and Mussolini. Shouldn't it?

God forbid they choose a name people would really hate, like a shortened form of anti-genocide or anti-racist.
