One real danger with all this talk about "election security" is that Republicans will regain power and centralize election processing.
The localized nature of elections make them difficult to hack. They're messy, frustrating to wait for, etc., but hard to hack because each county in each state has its own methodology.
If that changes, they instantly become easier to hack.
Appeal to their claims to prefer decentralized government. It won't work, because I happen to think their ideology changes with the wind. It's all according to what fear is being forwarded at the time by the people that control their unread, uncurious minds.
