On Monday we (the team I've been working on for the last year and a half on a software project) got a sprint/standup response on Slack from our colleagues in Ukraine:
"We had a heavy bombing today, as a result we have an electricity and internet issues. Partially restored, but still don't work fine.
So we don't have any updates today.
Hope all will be fixed tomorrow."
Haven't heard from them since. This stuff is real, and it sucks when it involves people I know and care about.
Thanks for your analogy and story.
We probably WILL here from them today. They are a resilient bunch.
