Oh, yes. That. When I was in my early 20s I could drink gallons of the stuff and not feel a thing the next day.

I quit drinking in my early 30s, and like a fool took it up again after a very long layoff. The hangovers were incurably awful.

The whole experience was awful. Drinking is a young person's sport.

Being alcohol-free is definitely not a sacrifice of any kind. For me, it's like avoiding any kind of unhealthy product, like corn syrup or foods with ingredients I can't pronounce. It's just part of a healthy lifestyle.

Big difference though. Corn syrup doesn't warp your thinking.
