But also, like a lot of all this spam-related stuff, it seems WEIRD to do it.

Does someone who creates multiple accounts really gain that much revenue from this effort? Isn't it more productive from a financial standpoint to, say, be a Walmart greeter?

Or is some of this stuff automated somehow?

To be clear, I'm not knocking the effort here to stop this practice. It's obnoxious that people do this. I'm just wondering WHY people do it.
